Heritage Park Horse Trial

Heritage Park offers Starter through Preliminary Level cross country courses with competition through the IP level. Our course designer describes the courses as follows: all courses are over mowed grass park land with open rolling hillocks with no significant elevation changes.  There are a few wooded areas that will be galloped through.  N, T, P will have maximum size fences on course so do not consider this a “move up course”, however, the courses should be considered standard for their level.

The beautiful Heritage Park is located at 168th & Pflumm Road in Olathe, KS. MAEA works in conjunction with the Johnson County Parks Department to maintain the equestrian facility at this venue.

Heritage Park is well-designed for the spectator, coach and competitor. Stabling is conveniently located to the secretary’s tent, warm-up areas and competition sites for all three phases. The cross-country courses are set on open, slightly rolling aerovated terrain which offers excellent viewing of numerous fences.
