Mid-America Eventing Association
The Mid-America Eventing Association (MAEA) was founded as The Mid-America Combined Training Association (MACTA) in 1977 and is a regional affiliate of the United States Eventing Association. The Mid-America Eventing Association provides educational and competitive activities for its members and other horse lovers in the Kansas City area and throughout the midwest.
Since 1977, MAEA has hosted cross-country schooling opportunities, clinics and schooling shows as well as a United States Eventing Association recognized horse trial at Heritage Park in Olathe, KS.
In 2020, MACTA transitioned to the Mid-America Eventing Association (MAEA) following USEA’s 2001 adoption of of the FEI term “eventing” for the international sport previously known as combined training.
The Mid-America Eventing Association was granted a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Non-Profit Organization status in 2005. All donations are tax deductible.
